Fall-protection regulatory and RAVS crosswalk

Fall Protection · Online knowledge course resource v1.0.0 · October 21, 2026

Two worker knowledge tracks are provided. They have separate identities, thresholds, trainer/inspection wording and records. Introductory coverage does not authorize specialized methods or establish actual system skills. Task-specific instruction is required before any method/equipment outside the reviewed assignment is used.

The federal regulations are the baseline. Interpretation letters explain their context. Actual manufacturer instructions, drawings, task provisions, State Plan and project/client requirements must be supplied and reviewed before use.

Development sources read: SHP-003 Fall Protection Program v0.2 and the five-question RAVS_Requirements (15).pdf, exported July 22, 2022. The program’s construction base informs this draft. General industry is a separate regulatory track; it is not treated as already approved by that construction program. State supplements, current client acceptance and employer implementation are not established by this bundle. Historical contractor responses/results are not transferred.
