I started in the trades, completed a carpentry apprenticeship, and worked as a project superintendent before moving into occupational safety and EHS leadership. That path still shapes how I write: a plan has to meet the conditions people actually face.

My professional work explores Human & Organizational Performance, event investigation, Learning Teams, organizational learning, and the use of AI and technology in safety practice. Two current books are published; I also share free articles and video, and am developing LMS-ready training for organizations to deliver through their own systems.
