Can you help with vows?
Yes. Traditional, short, personal, and collaboratively written vows are options.
Can we have handfasting or a themed ceremony?
Yes. We can discuss symbolism, wording, props, and appropriate themed attire.
Do we need a marriage license?
For a legal marriage, obtain a valid license and satisfy applicable South Carolina requirements before the ceremony. Official license instructions must be followed.
Can we have a nonreligious ceremony?
Yes. No religious elements are required.
Are you an Ordained Minister? Do we need a religious ceremony?
Yes, I am ordained through Universal Life Church Ministries. My ministry focuses on marriage, but ceremonies can be entirely secular and nonreligious. I use “Ordained Minister” as my formal title and “Wedding Officiant & Celebrant” to describe the service.
Can you dress in costume or a kilt?
Appropriate attire can be discussed in advance; no specific costume is guaranteed.
Can we book next day?
Possibly, subject to availability and legal prerequisites. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Pricing & travel
Simple wedding / elopement
From $200
A brief planning call, a simple ceremony using an existing script, and completion of the officiant’s marriage-license paperwork as required.
Personalized wedding ceremony
From $350
A planning conversation, a ceremony written around your story, one revision round, and officiating on the day. Rehearsal attendance is separate.
Rehearsal attendance: $100 per visit, plus applicable travel. Rehearsals are arranged separately and depend on availability.
Travel: $1 per round-trip mile
Travel is separate from the service price and uses round-trip driving mileage from Todd’s Fort Mill starting location to the agreed venue and back. A venue 20 driving miles away adds $40 for the 40-mile round trip. Each separately agreed visit has its own travel calculation. Remote writing has no mileage charge.
Starting prices cover the listed scope. Additional writing, revisions, or special arrangements are quoted before you agree. Your written quote confirms the service, mileage, and total before an appointment is confirmed. This form collects no payment.
