APA 7th edition professional-paper requirements
Prepare manuscripts using APA Style, 7th edition, professional-paper conventions. Use a professional title page with the title, author name(s), affiliation(s), author note/contact information as applicable, a short running head, and page number. This journal asks for a 150–250-word abstract and 3–5 keywords. Use consistent APA headings; author–date citations; and a reference list where every in-text citation and reference entry correspond. Format quotations, numbers, tables, figures, notes, and DOI/URL links in APA style. Use an APA-approved font, double spacing, 1-inch margins, page numbers, and clear paragraph structure. Substantive departures should be explained in the cover information.
See the official APA professional title-page guidance, paper-format guidance, and professional sample papers. This journal’s instructions may add requirements for the article categories it accepts.
Use respectful, precise, bias-free language. Define abbreviations and technical terms. Separate evidence from interpretation, state limitations, and identify whether examples are observed, simulated, or hypothetical. Research articles should describe design, participants or data sources, analysis, ethics/oversight status where relevant, and data availability or restrictions. Do not include confidential company records, participant data, or identifiable health information without a lawful basis and appropriate permission.
Originality, permissions, and disclosures
Submit work you are authorized to provide. Disclose prior publication, related manuscripts under consideration, conflicts of interest, funding, author contributions, AI assistance, and material limitations. Identify copyrighted or third-party content and confirm that necessary permissions are in place or explain what permission remains pending. Submission does not transfer copyright. If a manuscript is accepted, any publication license and final production terms will be discussed separately.
What happens after submission
The editor will assess fit and completeness and may request clarification, revision, or external technical review. Review time varies. Authors receive a submission receipt; editorial decisions are communicated separately.
