General Occupational Safety

This course awards an online knowledge completion record after all lesson checks, at least 80% on the final assessment with every critical decision correct, and a 1–5 star course rating. Three final-assessment attempts are available, with targeted review between attempts. It does not confer an OSHA card, professional certification or employer work authorization.

Employer workplace component: Complete the supervisor or host walkthrough at an agreed safe meeting point. Confirm the agency safety program, duties, age and task limits, required training, supervisor and backup, permitted routes and restricted areas. Review handling support, workstation needs, public-interaction help, field check-ins and weather rules. Locate emergency routes, assembly and shelter areas, first aid, AEDs, extinguishers, exact product information, SDS access and task PPE. Record open questions, owners, follow-up times and affected work on hold. Keep resident and case details, private health information, access codes and sensitive operational information out of the generic worksheet. The employer records this separately; online completion and the worksheet do not grant professional credentials, FEMA/NIMS/ICS certification, specialist qualification, entry permission or work authorization. Move to safety and get emergency help promptly in immediate danger.

The course outline is public. Exam preparation, mathematics, introductions and selected short courses stay free. Other industry courses require purchase or eligible company access and include their standard certificate when earned. Eligible connected company members have earned standard certificates included. Existing subscriptions retain their recorded terms. Purchase alone never awards a certificate; all published completion requirements still apply.

Assessment and retakes

All schools use the shared assessment and retake policy: unlimited practice, three quiz or exam attempts per set, and an initial graded-capstone submission plus two revisions. Further attempts require the specified review or approved remediation. Course-specific passing requirements remain in effect.
