Privacy Policy

Who operates this site
Todd Jerome Jenkins operates www.toddjeromejenkins.com and decides how personal information collected through this site is used. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form and choose Privacy or personal-data request. This policy covers this site; external services have their own policies.
Information and purposes
Browsing public articles and downloading resources does not require an account. When you sign in with ChatGPT, the site receives your account identifier, email address, and name if available. We use these to authenticate you and manage access. We store the email, screen name, and optional first and last name you provide with your player profile, optional job title, industry, interests and resource preferences to understand your interests and offer relevant resources, age-confirmation timestamps, optional marketing preference and consent record, account access preferences, Terms acceptance time and version, and account timestamps. We store saved adventure progress and tabletop room information, including character names, game actions, and game logs, to provide the features you request. Private family access uses account identifiers, email addresses, and assigned roles.
Jenkins Academy of Applied Technology learning records
For Jenkins Academy of Applied Technology, we store your account identifier, module and content version, lesson and practice progress, assessment responses, scores and attempts, and start, activity, and completion timestamps. These records let you resume on another device and download your learning history. Todd can access these records to operate and support the Academy. Printable worksheet entries are not sent to the record service. Completed courses and earned program achievements are retained to support your learning history. An unfinished course may be dropped and its partial work reset under the completion and participation policy acknowledged at registration or extension. We retain other learning records while needed to provide your account history and support the service; use the privacy contact above for access, correction, or deletion requests. Previously saved browser progress may be used to resume lessons, but earlier scores are not treated as dated account completion records.
Learning calendar connections
Your account may store your learning-calendar time zone, preferred study days and time, session length, and choice to include suggested study blocks. If you choose to create a calendar subscription, the site creates a private link that allows your selected calendar provider, or anyone holding that link, to retrieve your course titles, learning activities, dates, and classroom links. The feed does not contain assessment scores, written submissions, extension explanations, email addresses, or personal appointments. You can replace or disconnect the subscription link in My Learning. Disconnecting stops future retrieval through that link; your calendar provider may retain previously fetched entries until you remove its subscribed calendar. A downloaded calendar file is a separate snapshot. Your calendar provider processes subscribed dates under its own policies. Opening a calendar or changing study preferences does not record course participation.
JRI inquiries
Jenkins Research Institute contact and partnership forms store the contact information, inquiry category, and details you choose to submit in a private owner inbox. We use these records to review and respond to inquiries; submission does not add you to a mailing list, enroll you in research, or create a partnership. Please do not submit research responses, medical records, or sensitive participant information. We retain inquiries while needed to respond, evaluate proposed collaboration, and meet applicable record obligations. For access, correction, or deletion requests, use the privacy contact above. Abuse prevention uses a hash of the submitted email address to limit repeated submissions.
Careers inquiries
If you submit an inquiry about an internship, research collaboration, or research and training development project, Todd receives the contact details, interests, background, optional affiliation, availability, compensation expectations, and other information you choose to include. We use this information to discuss and assess a possible placement, collaboration, or project and any accessibility arrangements you request. Please do not send identity documents, Social Security numbers, medical records, or confidential work samples. An inquiry does not add you to marketing lists or create a placement, collaboration, or project agreement. We retain correspondence while needed to review and respond to the inquiry or manage an agreed arrangement, subject to the retention and deletion section below. Use the privacy contact above for access, correction, or deletion requests.
Amazon purchase links
Some book purchase links use Amazon Attribution to measure website referrals and attributed purchases in Amazon’s reports. The links contain campaign identifiers, not your account or profile details. Amazon processes activity after you follow a link under its own privacy policies. The site does not receive an individual customer’s purchase confirmation from these links.
Information visible to other players
Your screen name, character or token names, actions, and game logs may be visible to people in the same tabletop room. A room invitation code gives access to that room; share it only with intended participants. Do not put personal, confidential, or sensitive information in names, room titles, or game content.
Veteran status and optional offers
If you request a veteran status review, we store the request date, review status, method, reviewer identifier, and decision date with your account. Todd uses your account email to arrange a manual review. This website does not collect document copies, Social Security numbers, or military records; do not upload or email them. After status confirmation, members who confirm they are 18 or older may separately choose veteran offer emails. We record this choice, its wording version, consent time, and withdrawal time. Todd can privately view and export the current opted-in recipient list to send offers. Approval alone does not subscribe you. You can turn offers off or withdraw your status request in My Profile. Removing status confirmation or adult confirmation makes you ineligible for these offers; a new opt-in is required after eligibility is restored. Review and preference records are retained while needed to manage the request and document consent, subject to the retention and deletion section below.
Optional email and billing
Nonfiction updates and fiction/game updates are separate, optional choices limited to users who confirm they are 18 or older. You can change these preferences on the account page or use the unsubscribe link in an email. Account access preferences alone do not subscribe you to marketing or to The Jenkins Report. Existing billing records, if any, are retained securely. Stripe handles associated billing details, and the site stores customer and subscription identifiers to support those records. Do not send payment-card details to this site or by email.
The Jenkins Report email subscription
You may separately request The Jenkins Report, a free weekly workplace safety email, without creating an account. The signup form collects your email address, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and your explicit newsletter choice. We record the consent wording version, signup source, request and confirmation dates, subscription status, and unsubscribe or suppression history. We send a confirmation link and activate the subscription only after you confirm. Resend processes recipient addresses, message content and delivery information to send these emails and report delivery, bounces and complaints. Newsletter records and the subscriber list are private to the site operator. We use opaque confirmation and unsubscribe links and hashed network/email identifiers with limited request counts to reduce signup abuse. Each email provides a way to unsubscribe without signing in; suppression records help prevent further unwanted email. Newsletter consent is separate from account, course, Fiction and other email preferences. We retain subscription and delivery records while needed to provide the requested newsletter, document consent, resolve delivery issues and honor withdrawals. For access, correction or deletion, use the privacy contact form.
Technical information and service providers
OpenAI provides ChatGPT Sites hosting and sign-in. Hosting and authentication services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requests, and security logs to operate and protect the service. OpenAI processes site end-user information as needed to provide Sites under the agreement applicable to the operator’s account. OpenAI also handles its own services under its privacy policy. Stripe processes billing information when you use its services. Google/YouTube receives technical information when you choose to load an embedded player. External retailers such as Amazon receive information when you follow their links. With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits to public pages and clicks to public resource collections and downloads, Academy and free-account links, book pages, game demos, and known Amazon and The Game Crafter purchase links using cookies. These click counts do not confirm account creation, course completion, or purchases. With your permission, a successful new free account-access activation sends a separate confirmation identifying only the account access area and free access type. Re-saving active account access does not send another confirmation, and owner activations are excluded. Earlier analytics choices that covered only public-page activity are not expanded; free-access confirmations require accepting the updated choice. Research and Ceremonies remain excluded. Account, game, and learner-course page views and clicks are excluded; the separate free-access confirmation contains no account or course URL. Clicks to games and account access are measured only on eligible public pages before visitors leave them. Action events include a fixed placement category (hero, supporting documents, next step, navigation, or page link) to compare calls to action. Our page and action events do not send account identifiers, email addresses, lesson content, form or search text, or URL query strings. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. We do not operate advertising pixels. Product promotions are based on the current page without a browsing-history profile. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Reasons for processing
We use account and game information to deliver requested features and administer account access. Where applicable privacy law requires a lawful basis, requested account and subscription services rely on performance of a contract; optional marketing relies on consent; security, abuse prevention, and handling inquiries rely on legitimate interests in protecting the service and responding to visitors; legally required records rely on legal obligations. We do not use game or account data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Contact messages and course feedback
Contact forms collect your name, reply email, chosen topic, message, and course or module context where supplied. Module feedback records your signed-in account, course and module, clarity and usefulness ratings, optional comments, and course version where available. Submissions are stored privately for Todd to review; they do not subscribe you to marketing. Feedback does not change grades or completion records. Submission references prevent duplicate retries, and limited hashed identifiers and request counts help prevent abuse. No automatic notification or reply email is sent by these forms. Records are retained while needed to handle the inquiry, improve learning, or meet the purposes described below. Use the privacy contact form to request access, correction, or deletion.
Course registrations and inactivity reminders
Course registration stores your selected pace, deadline, extension count, account email, participation dates, and registration status. Main Academy and Fiction & Games registrations are separate. Gamers Academy progress for registered learning is saved with your account. A service email reminder is due after four weeks without meaningful learning participation. After a further week without participation and confirmed reminder delivery, an unfinished registration and its course progress, assessment attempts, and unfinished coursework are removed. Re-registration starts a new attempt. Completed courses, certificate evidence, private feedback, and shared discussion posts are retained. Deadlines and inactivity clocks pause during pending instructor review. Minimal registration and reset metadata is retained to enforce current attempts and prevent stale browser saves from restoring deleted progress. Resend processes account email and reminder content to deliver these service notices; reminder delivery status is checked before removal. Registration does not subscribe you to marketing. Use the privacy contact form for account-data requests.
Course discussions
My Learning discussions store your chosen discussion name, posts and replies, course and module, account identifier, and timestamps. Posts are shared with signed-in learners who have access to that course and with Todd. Account email addresses are not displayed with posts. Reports and moderation reasons are private to Todd; hiding a post removes it from learner view while retaining it and the moderation history for review. Posting limits help prevent abuse. Discussions are optional, do not change grades, and do not send automatic email notifications. My Learning pages and clicks are excluded from optional public-page analytics. Records are retained while needed to provide discussions and handle moderation, subject to the retention provisions below. Use the privacy contact form for access, correction, or deletion requests.
Retention and deletion
We retain account preferences and saved progress while needed to provide your account and requested features. Room records are retained while needed for continuing play and managing the room. You may request deletion through the privacy contact form. Records may be retained where needed to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with legal requirements, or document a consent withdrawal. The retention decision depends on the record’s purpose and applicable obligations. Copies in service-provider backups and logs may persist according to the provider’s applicable retention arrangements. Clearing browser storage deletes browser-only game saves; it does not delete server-side account records.
Processing locations
The site uses OpenAI Sites and its service infrastructure; other services may process information in countries different from your own. The site does not promise storage in any particular country or region. International processing and safeguards depend on the applicable service agreements. Contact the operator for information about the arrangements applicable to your data.
Your choices and rights
You can browse public content without signing in, decline optional marketing, and choose whether to load YouTube, and accept or decline analytics through Privacy choices. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant privacy regulator. Use the privacy contact form; identify the feature and account involved without sending passwords, identity documents, health information, or card details. We may need proportionate information to verify the request and will respond within applicable legal deadlines. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Some records may need to be retained as described above.
Age, health information, and changes
This site is not intended for children under 13 or below the applicable age of digital consent. Player registration requires an age confirmation. Marketing requires an adult confirmation. If a child below the applicable minimum age has provided information, contact the operator. Do not submit health journals or Protected Health Information. The site does not provide a health-record service. We update this policy when practices change and display the revision date.
Private jSMS workspace
The jSMS workspace stores the organization profile, industry and NAICS information, policies and programs, hazards, controls, operating records, evidence, actions, assessments, management reviews, attachments and change history you submit. These records are linked to your signed-in account to provide your requested workspace and exports. The Program Shelf also stores your employer program entries, organization name, selected state and workforce, additional arrangements, source template version and saved revision history. These copies are private to the account and can be exported as HTML. Archiving retains the copy and history. This feature does not publish them or grant access to other members; team sharing is not enabled. Hosting and storage providers process the records to operate the service. The operator may handle records where necessary to support the service or respond to a verified data request. jSMS workspace page activity is excluded from optional public-page analytics. Archiving retains the record, its attachments and change history. Backup exports include structured records and history; attachment contents are downloaded separately. Records are retained while needed for the workspace, subject to the retention and deletion provisions below. Use the privacy contact form for access, correction or deletion requests. Submit only information you are authorized to store; do not submit medical records, health journals or Protected Health Information.
JHA drafts, printing and research choice
JHA device drafts are stored in the current browser tab; the optional trusted-device choice keeps a copy across visits. Personalized print exports require sign-in or explicit research participation. Signed-in printing does not require research participation. Full entered drafts are processed for printing; full hosted records and revisions are retained privately only when you choose to save to your organization JHA library. Research contributions retain only the enumerated structured categories, consent notice version, random reference and expiry. They exclude account identity, names, company/project identifiers, exact locations, signatures and written job notes. Short-lived request rate-limit records are operational safeguards separate from the research dataset. See purpose, fields, retention and withdrawal.
Company training connections and retained records
An employee accepts a company connection using the invited email and current notice. We record acceptance time, notice version and text, and connection changes. Accepted connections enable employer course assignments and eligible company certificate funding. Employers can retain their assigned-course details and funded-certificate entries after employment or subscription ends, with read-only history and export. Personal grades and unrelated learning are not included. Employee departure cancels outstanding connected assignments and ends company funding without deleting personal certificates or company history.
Invitation links expire after seven days. Company connection, assignment and funded-certificate records are not automatically deleted when employment or paid access ends. Personal earned certificates remain available for reprinting. Correction or deletion requests follow the privacy contact process; longer applicable employer retention duties remain separate. Older connections without dated acceptance are identified rather than assigned an invented date.
Central email preferences
The Email updates & preferences page stores your email address, selected publications and experience newsletters, training email frequency, age confirmation, consent notice version, signup source and change time. Email confirmation requests include a temporary hashed confirmation reference and the selected choices. Confirmation email delivery uses our email service; pending email payloads are cleared after provider acceptance or confirmation. Anonymous requests do not change subscriptions until confirmed. Signed-in changes apply only to the email verified by site authentication.
Newsletter and temperature-question invitations are optional and separate from Academy enrollment, purchases and course records. Selecting a temperature invitation is not research consent or submission of an answer. Each future questionnaire must provide its own purpose, data-use notice and participation choice. New series start delivery when launched. Change choices here or through an email unsubscribe link; existing Academy and veteran-status email choices remain in their respective areas.
Certification preparation BETA interest and alerts
When you opt in through your signed-in account, we save your account identity, contact email, selected credentials, BETA interest, alert choices, consent notice version and update time. These choices are used for preparation availability emails and BETA contacts you request. Alert delivery records support duplicate prevention and delivery review. This does not enroll you in a course or subscribe you to other newsletters. Change your preferences or withdraw both choices at preparation signup, or use the unsubscribe link in an alert.
Instructor kit purchase privacy
Updated October 19, 2026 · Notice version pa001-purchase-privacy-2026-10-19-v2
Instructor kit purchases
When you start a kit purchase, we store the signed-in account identifier, purchasing company name, order reference, base price, verified tax and total amounts, currency and product tax category, payment environment, training permission and purchase-terms versions and acceptance times, privacy notice version, checkout and payment identifiers, payment status and relevant timestamps. We use these records to process the order, provide and protect download access, handle payment questions, refunds and disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping duties.
Stripe and payment details
Stripe hosts the payment page and processes payment details under its privacy notice. We send Stripe the account email and order information, including the company name and order, training permission and purchase-terms references. We use Stripe's payment status and refund or dispute information to verify access. Do not send full payment-card details to this website or by email. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes in the kit order database. If tax setup requires a billing address or tax identifier, Stripe collects those details at checkout and they are covered by the disclosed payment processing purposes.
Access and privacy requests
Purchase pages and protected download routes are excluded from optional public-page analytics. A purchase does not subscribe you to marketing or automatically enroll you in a course. Order information is retained while needed for delivery, accounting, tax, fraud prevention and payment disputes, subject to applicable obligations. Use https://www.toddjeromejenkins.com/contact?topic=privacy for access, correction or deletion requests. Some transaction records may need to be retained even if other account information is deleted.
