Preparation and certification

This independently authored course does not award the CHST credential, guarantee examination success or authorize hazardous work. BCSP determines eligibility, examinations and certification. Application, examination and certification fees are separate.

The introductory lessons support learning methods and study planning. Lessons 1.1–1.3 add hazard recognition, task analysis, control selection and verification practice. The released lessons do not cover the full CHST examination blueprint. The remaining curriculum, final assessment and full-course completion are not yet available.
