Collaboration may involve research design, academic exchange, research sites, data and methods, research-to-practice work, or publication and media.
Support the work, preserve independence.
Potential sponsorship can support legitimate research expenses: independent ethical review, participant compensation, research technology, secure data infrastructure, statistical consultation, scientific conferences, and publication costs.
Financial support does not purchase a particular research outcome. Sponsors may support legitimate research activities but may not require JRI to suppress, alter, selectively report, or misrepresent findings. Sponsor involvement in research design, data collection, analysis, publication, or other scientific activities will be disclosed where appropriate.
Sponsors do not receive identifiable participant data merely because they provided funding.
