Policy and HOP sample
[Employer] shall implement a workplace-specific Chemical Hygiene Plan for covered laboratory use of hazardous chemicals. Designate a qualified employee Chemical Hygiene Officer, adopt actual procedure SOPs and prior-approval circumstances, verify protective-equipment performance and provide the appropriate exposure monitoring, medical opportunity, training and records arrangements. Determine actual laboratory scope and review effectiveness at least annually; a generic chemical course or hood label alone does not establish an implemented CHP.
