Optional company participation count

Public participation is complete without this step. If you choose, one current company can receive a protected quarterly total of connected people who separately opted to be counted. This is not the total of all employees who may have answered.

Your signed-in connection is checked to prevent a second count this quarter. Citizenship and language are excluded from this counter and all employer reporting. The separate counter uses a protected account hash and a proof derived from your private receipt; it stores no name, email, research response reference or answers. It cannot be used by the employer to retrieve a person’s participation.

Counts are withheld while a quarter is open and for at least seven days after it closes. Counts below 20, and counts leaving fewer than five currently eligible nonparticipants, are withheld. These JRI safeguards reduce inference risk; they cannot guarantee anonymity if others disclose their own participation. No team, demographic, language or citizenship breakdown is provided.

Before the total is finalized, withdrawing with the same survey receipt also removes this count. After finalization, the individual count record can be removed, but the protected total remains. Complete this step before the same quarter closes. Responses under notices that did not disclose this counter remain ineligible. No citizenship is added to earlier responses.
